What wonderful Nature writing! So happy to have found you through the May: Find Your Tribe. Your gardens are beautiful. I too started a large vegetable garden in 2020. Having so many people start a garden was a positive that came out of that year as well as being more creative and health oriented.
Yes, beautiful. If relaxed me. Relaxed... Me... Then got me teary (the parenting part), and I've built walls against such things and their reactions. Damn you.
What a beautiful piece. I loved the idea of the garderner as a rebel. I have often thought that too - from working with farmers in my job - I see how connecting and tending to the earth makes you into someone who is working against consumer culture and the capatalist systems in many ways.
Exactly, I feel quite stubborn sometimes, in refusing certain things that would make life easier. I’m so inspired by the farms doing it the hard way- have you seen the biggest little farm film? Incredible ❤️

A gorgeous read. I see so many mirrors in our gardens. Different lands same ethos❤️
A lovely thought ❤️
I feel like we should do more some time and some how to spread these thoughts as an idea.
One earth and we all aren’t that different from each other arent we? Would love to hear your expanded thoughts on this topic!
Will have a think and let you know some thoughts once they are clear to me.❤️
Love gardener as rebel.
So do I. It’s not an original thought but one that strongly resonates with me. I wear my mud between sandaled toes to work like a rebel badge
Beautiful thoughts, beautiful garden and beautiful photos, Lisa.
Thank you Sarah! 🌷
